Panda
Once I'd made the yellow chain on the red background, I knew it called for a photo in the corner, but who or what? After spending months putting off the decision, I thought contrasting the bright red and yellow with a dark photo, so I thought of a dark photo of an Islamic woman, then I thought, "Do I really want to get on that anti Islamic band wagon? so I put in the panda, thinking the green flora and gray ground might contrast well with the red background I painted. What do you think?Thursday, November 7, 2013

Ghosts
This was done with some cutters that cut paper into certain shapes, the beetle, the owl, the butterfly and the birds. I cut the Moon with my own hands. Also, you can't see it in this picture, but the owl has a face pressed into it. I painted the black tree and dark red background with my own hands, with acrylic paintsSaturday, October 12, 2013
