This is a reversal of Calder's paints. He used black lines on light background, I used white paint on dark background

Done with blue yarn glued onto wooden gears, on 9 X 12 canvas board painted with acrylic red

Final Exam

This piece was my fourth and final exam for Intro to Painting class. I had to combine two pieces from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, so I combined a vase of flowers from a Henri Fantin-Latour piece, with Still Life With Apples, by Paul Cezanne
