Burning Car

This was inspired by a car I saw burn in the Baltimore riots. The flames were so bright and beautiful against the grayish background, I had to try it. This took me two days, with a lot of alterations, experimentations and completely giving up a few times.

N

This N is made with violet & purple iridescent acrylic and mars black acrylic. See it in Iridescent File and Letter & Number File

Grape Jelly Streaks

This picture started with watercolor crayon drawn on the canvas, spread with gesso, and covered with iridescent violet and purple acrylic paint. I then scraped it with a painting knife, making vertical streaks, and added horizontal streaks with black acrylic.
